Express Entry

Express Entry sounds simple, but it is a complicated immigration management system. It manages applications under 4 different streams: Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and various Provincial Nominee Programs.

We can assess if you meet the eligibility criteria for at least one of these streams and evaluate your Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS). Depending on your CRS you may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and proceed with a PR application. ITAs are usually sent out by the federal immigration department to candidates with the highest CRS every 2 to 3 weeks. We will assist you with gathering all the supporting documents and information needed for an Express Entry PR application. Once submitted, Express Entry has one of the fastest processing times, a decision is typically made within 6 months. If your CRS is unlikely to result in an ITA, we will advise you on how you may be able to increase your CRS.

Provincial Nominee Program

The various Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) allow provinces to attract specific newcomers to their region. Most provinces have a program to target skilled workers and new businesses in their region. Some of the more unique PNPs aim to attract self-employed farmers, health care professionals, international students, and semi or low-skilled workers or have eased criteria for settlement in specific regions. Most provinces also access the Express Entry system; a provincial nomination will significantly increase your Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) and enhance your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
